New Vision (Kampala) - July 14, 2004
Ebenezer Bifubyeka
"You should not forget that God has saved us from the political life of the 1980s," he said.
Buturo was on Saturday speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony at Mbarara Community Hospital, Kakiika, Kyamugorani in Mbarara district.
"Don't forget easily like one politician (he declined to name him), who was detained at Luzira Prison for six years without trial and has forgotten to the extent of saying this is the worst government Uganda has ever had," Buturo said.
He said the Movement was the best government the independent Uganda has ever had.
Buturo urged the people to turn to God and get saved.
He said the Government would fund the construction of the second phase of the hospital.
The hospital director, Nathan Karema, said the hospital will install a Fax-CD4, CD3 and CD8 machine, which detects the growth of HIV/AIDS.
